A Lane Altavista Cedar Chest is a collectible and functional furniture piece made by Lane Furniture Company of Altavista, Virginia. These chests were popular from the early to mid-20th century and were often used as hope chests or blanket storage.

Key Features: Material: Solid cedar interior (for moth-resistant storage) with a variety of wood veneers like walnut, mahogany, or cherry on the exterior.
