Description :
U.S. M1905/M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, manufactured by PAL (Pal Blade & Tool Company, Holyoke, Massachusetts). Here’s a breakdown of the markings and features: "PAL" in the oval → Manufacturer’s stamp. PAL produced about 1 million bayonets during WWII, making them one of the major contractors. Flaming bomb ordnance mark → U.S. military inspection and acceptance stamp. "U O S" → Stands for "United States Ordnance."
