Lane Cedar Chests are iconic American storage chests, known for their quality craftsmanship, aromatic cedar interiors, and timeless designs. Manufactured by the Lane Company, founded in 1912 in Altavista, Virginia, these chests became especially popular in the mid-20th century as "hope chests" used for storing linens, clothing, and keepsakes.
